I have a full, enclosed garden, with access to an enclosed, wooded area. The children love to play with the sand and water, cars, bikes and trikes, swing and climbing frame.
A child’s day will include a structured activity, crafts, cutting and sticking, painting, corn silk, dough, cooking, story time, singing and music. Time is also set aside for physical play and free play, with a range of toys to stimulate the imagination, challenge the child intellectually and encourage independence in learning.
Children have access to all the toys and equipment themselves. They are encouraged to select for themselves and put away when finished or wanting to move onto something new.
We also regularly visit toddler groups (such as Newton Hall) and local places of interest.
The children also love our friendly dog and cat. We also have goldfish and rabbits (all flea'd and wormed regularly of course).
I have a comprehensive range of toys and equipment to suit all needs and ages and stage of development to include construction toys, Lego, puzzles, craft materials, art, drawing, home corner / role play toys, farm, garage, dolls, games, dressing up, educational activities, musical instruments and worksheets for the older child.
Treasure baskets designed for the non-crawling baby, play gym and shape sorter, pop up toys and many others.
